Salt is a Punk/Folk Duo made up of Zac Banks and Jeremiah Holt. Together they dredge for enduring truths at the intersection of modern and ancient labor & resistance music. Banks is a fearless punk who believes deeply in the optimism of children and the mystical properties of Irish whisky. He was a member of the extraordinary and unheralded bands The Phantom Creeps and Liquor Box and has performed with members of the exquisite punk band Third. Holt was classically trained but found his musical identity at sea and has sung with the likes of Louis Killen. He once bought a beer for Hunter Thompson with someone else's money. He’s been lucky enough to perform with Four Shillings Short and MacArra. Both Holt and Banks were members of avant garde folk trio Trenchmouth and have recorded with AeTopus.
