12Tales
an Arts Workshop!

Ever dreamed of turning your memories, ideas, or wildest imaginings into a story? Get started with 12 Tales workshops—it’s easier than you think and a lot of fun!

Jump in by writing, sketching, or experimenting with art materials. Share ideas, get inspired, and discover the story you’re meant to tell—your way.

Beginners and seasoned artists are welcome. Each workshop stands on its own.

**Please note that some mature themes might be explored and presented by creators in the second half of this program. While our themes are geared towards all ages to create with, we do not limit the expressions of our participants

The Workshop Experience

Each workshop takes shape around a central theme that is introduced by experienced facilitators, expanded upon during group discussion, and illustrated through the presentation of literary and/or visual art works.

Above all, the workshop experience begins and ends with dedicated time for individual participants to take up the theme and create their personal artistic response in the format or medium of their choice.

At the workshop’s conclusion, there is time and space for participants to gather informally to share new ideas and present newly created works.
